Ford Type 2 Gearbox Oil Seal Kit

Oil seal kit for Ford Type 2 gearbox.

Includes gearbox nose and rear oil seals as well as speedometer socket seal.

Oil Seal Size:

• 1x Front Oil Seal - 28 x 40 x 7 mm
• 1x Rear Oil Seal -29/29.5 X 43.7 X 12.5 mm
• 1x Speedo Oil Seal - 8 x 16 x 7 mm

The Type 2 gearbox is a 4-speed gearbox found on Ford Escort MK1/MK2 models (except on RS, Mexico and Twin Cam) and also on some early entry-level Ford Sierra models.

All FORD type 2 gearboxes have a clutch bell integrated into the main gearbox casing (non-removable) made of cast iron with an aluminum gearbox tail.

Primary shaft/gearbox input Ø 7/8'' and 20 splines, oil capacity of 0.9 litre.
