Post-Brexit Information
Since 1 January 2021, the United Kingdom has left the European Union.
Consequences for orders from an EEC country
Customers based in an EEC member state:
- Purchases are made excluding tax on our website. We no longer charge the 20% UK VAT.
- The equivalent of the VAT applicable in your country — for example USt in Germany, TVA in France, IVA in Spain, etc. — is now collected by the carrier before your parcel is delivered. The carrier may also add fees for this service and for customs clearance.
Please note that customs and import fees are applied by the destination country of the parcel, and these fees may vary from one country to another. We have no control over these customs charges and therefore advise our customers to contact the relevant authorities in their country for further information.
- If you refuse the parcel or do not agree to pay the customs duties, the parcel will be returned to us. We will then refund your order after deducting the outbound and return shipping costs, as well as any additional administrative fees charged to us by the carrier, and any costs relating to the inspection and restocking of the returned products.
Delays / Delivery times
Since the beginning of the year, the implementation of the new import regulations for products coming from the United Kingdom has caused delays in parcel deliveries.
The situation appears to be improving, but unfortunately we can no longer guarantee delivery within 4 working days, as these factors are beyond our control.
