How the idle circuit works on a WEBER DCOE carburettor.
Fuel leaving the float chamber is carried through the conduits (15) to the calibrated holes of the idle jets (16). Mixed with air coming from the passages (13) — corresponding to the “F” number in the idle jet reference — it then passes through the conduits (20) and the idle feed holes (18). Adjustable by means of the screws (56), the mixture also passes through the progression holes (17). Orange = Fuel Yellow = Air/Fuel mixture Blue = Air
Rather simple, isn’t it?
