Standard quality discs identical in every respect to the original assembly.
All EBC Premium discs are cast from a material with a strength of 150 N/m² with a tightly controlled surface hardness variation of less than 20 HB.
They undergo precision CNC machining with a surface finish tolerance of less than 0.001 mm, or two thousandths of an inch. Therefore, EBC recommends a maximum runout of 0.0015 mm or 0.004 inches (4 thousandths) for mounted discs, as read on a dial indicator. Any runout exceeding these figures will cause vibrations after 4,500 to 6,000 kilometers due to variations in disc thickness (wear on a thin area at the disc's highest point due to misalignment), a condition that is NOT covered by the warranty.
