Weber 45 DCOE 4-Carburettors Kit – Rover V8 | Triumph TR8 & MGB V8

Complete kit including 4 x Weber 45 DCOE carburettors, intake manifold, throttle linkage and ram air filters for the Rover V8 engine.

Developed in collaboration with leading UK Rover V8 specialists, this is a highly developed kit designed specifically for Rover V8 applications where available engine-bay height is restricted.

Perfect for the Triumph TR8, MGB V8, or any other Rover V8 application where a low-profile carburettor setup is required.

The kit measures 200 mm in height, measured from the top of the intake port to the highest point of the carburettors. The overall width is 500 mm, including standard-length 45 DCOE air horns.

Please note that fitting this kit means the original oil filler cannot be used. It is therefore recommended to use later Rover SD1 V8 rocker covers, which relocate the oil filler to one end.

The kit is supplied with a thermostat housing, new throttle cable and custom-designed throttle quadrant, providing smooth and reliable throttle pedal operation.

Base Carburettor Calibration

The 45 DCOE carburettors supplied with the kit come with the following base calibration, allowing the engine to start and run:

• Venturi: 36 mm
• Auxiliary Venturi: 4.5
• Main Jet: 145
• Air Corrector: 155
• Emulsion Tube: F16
• Idle Jet: 55F8
• Pump Jet: 45

For maximum power, drivability and efficiency, we recommend having the carburettors professionally tuned on a rolling road to suit the individual engine specification.
